Dear Ones, take this moment to begin this pilgrimage to peace. Use your breath as your guide. Let us enter the interior Cave of the Heart. Let us begin with 3 simple words which act as both guide and destination. Just take a deep breath in; and a deep breath, out. Repeat with the inhalation Peace…. and with the exhalation… be still.
Peace….be still.
Peace….be still.
Sit a few moments and allow your breath and these words to align.
Again, peace on the inhalation. Be still on the exhalation.
Peace…be still.
Peace…be still.
Turn inward ever so gently. With deep compassion, bring peace first to your own self. With great reverence, bring peace to your own heart. With gratitude, bring peace to the mind.
Take your hands and bring them over your chest, one over the other, as you deeply inhale and say these words as a mantra and as a prayer. Allow this quiet for a few more moments. Whisper these words, Lover to the Beloved.
Peace…be still.
Peace… be still.
There. In the middle of your own heart is the place of quiet. There in the middle of your chest is a sanctuary where you can retreat at any time. Now is the time.
Peace… be still.
You can bring your hands to rest on your lap and continue to abide in this quiet peacefulness.
Bring others now into the calm and quiet space of love. Imagine those with whom you wish to share this peace. Imagine them in front of you and simply say these words with conviction and with great love; peace… be still. Have no doubt that this wish for the benefit of others is a powerful aspiration. Think of them now and bring them this peace. Send them these words with your breath and with your whole heart.
Peace… be still.
Simple. Powerful. A commandment of love. Peace…. be still.
Do not rush through this but relish this intention to be in the world and not of the world; to be in the midst of chaos, anger, violence, fear and pain while centered on peace.
Peace… be still.
The practice now deepens as we bring to mind the people we have harmed or who have harmed us; the ones we might call our enemies. Center your mind and your breath on these words and continue to abide in this space of deep calm.
Peace…be still.
Peace…be still.
Begin again and again with these words and begin to set the world aflame with a Light of Compassion and Kindness. You are a peacemaker and we need peacemakers now. We need to have a space for love in our world by making space for it in our hearts.
Peace… be still.
My peace I leave you. My peace I give to you.
Love one another as I have loved you. Love your enemies as yourself.
Peace… be still.
Is awsome, it’s a practice every day. Peace be still and also to forget our enemies.
With love,
Adriana

Thank you Dianne. Especially lately, I find that these simple words guide me home and hope that we all meet there; in the Heart. No, I know we all meet there.
