How do I thank Thee

IMG_1534Gratitude woke me up today at dawn.  She sat on my heart and as I opened my eyes,  She shooed away the to-do lists that usually tumble into my wakefulness. There was a sense of space and of having all the time in the world. Just an instant of wakefulness without busyness – and deep gratitude.

I was just grateful. I AM grateful.

It’s not associated with anything happening out there.  It arose spontaneously from deep in my heart and is the most basic sense of peace associated with being truly alive and connected to the Source of Life.

We have so much to be grateful for and just acknowledging this is like an instant resurrection from the gloom of obligation and responsibility and duty.  Resurrect your mind from the gravity of the self and gratefully acknowledge that you are more than that job, role, body, diagnosis or relationship. What is the Self if not the drop in the Ocean of Infinite Love and are you not that?  If you come from Love can you be anything else? You have the choice to be whatever you want to be; why not be the emanation of Perfect Love?

Wouldn’t that make your heart soar and wouldn’t you say “Thank you for reminding me?”

Thank you for reminding me!

May you have a joyous day filled with thankfulness and happiness and well-being and bring this to everyone you meet.

In love always and in all ways

Nellie

I spend too much of my life caught up in the gloom of obligation and responsibility and duty…Thanks for the timely reminder
